Schedule of Events:

8:30am – 9:30am: Non-Motorized Boat and Swim Parade

Kayakers, canoers, paddleboarders and swimmers gather at Camp Farley and parade to Attaquin Beach and then back to Camp Farley – a serene, slow-paced start to our day, an opportunity for participants to connect with the waters.

9:30am – 10:30am: Motorized Boat Parade

Motorized boats meet at Camp Farley and proceed clockwise around the entire perimeter of the lake – an enthusiastic awareness-building event with decorations, signs and bullhorns. See the other side for decoration ideas.

11:30am – 12:15pm: Community Picnic

Reconvene at Camp Farley’s upper Pavilion for a community picnic and social event with lunch provided – your chance to get to know your neighbors.

12:15pm – 1:30pm: Alliance Annual Meeting

After lunch, please join us for the Save Mashpee-Wakeby Pond Alliance’s Annual Meeting, also at Camp Farley’s upper Pavilion – your opportunity to learn about the latest news in our efforts to save the pond and what you can do to help. We will be joined by Ashley Fisher, Mashpee’s Water Quality Coordinator; Dan Kent, Mashpee’s Assistant Conservation Agent; and Jared Meader, Mashpee’s Wastewater Superintendent.
